I grew up playing Super Mario Bros. so I was really excited to make this cake. This was my first attempt at using fondant to cover a cake, so I decided to just experiment on the second tier.

Beatles Ice Cream Cake

This cake was made for my Niece. For her 4th Birthday she wanted a Yellow Submarine Party. She requested chocolate cake, chocolate ice cream, and chocolate frosting. The chocolate frosting was really hard to get smooth since it was butter based--as soon as it touched the frozen cake it was almost impossible to work with.
